So today was order day for Avon. I had a big of a slow past couple campaigns with starting a new job, starting school and my Grandmother passing all in a matter of a couple weeks.
Well Apparently I had some outstanding balanc and my order (which was full of backordered product (a huge isue I have with Avon) I paid the balance that i owed and today went ot place an order. When I saw that they were already billing me for the box of back orders I just flew into a rage. I was seriously done at that point.
The invoices are confusing now, the “not available do not reorder” and “will ship with campaign 131234″ stuff and the unhelpfulness of customer care have just left a bad taste in my mouth.
At this point I realize that I am not cut out for this direct sales thing. I’ve plunked down so much money to these companies and haven’t gotten anything to show for it except a lot of clutter.
I know I have taken on a new “not giving up” attitude but this is good bye for real. No more making other people money. If I am going to run a business I will be selling what I want to sell, things that I made.
So long Avon, so long Cookie Le I am through with you both as well as all other direct selling crap. It may be great for some but for me it’s just a big mesy PITA!
